Developing a Measure of Bus Driving Behaviour
Our Research
Getting on a Bus

In real-life fleet risk management interventions, there may be several different changes to the working environment at the same time. Any positive effect of the intervention may not be detected and attributed to the intervention or influence one behavioural component but not another. A well-designed evaluation also uses several different and independent sources of data, to avoid measurements errors.

We consider several interacting factors when designing a road safety evaluation. Here is a publication about our work with Arriva Bus UK detailing how we evaluated a self report measure of bus driver behaviour.
